Are you passionate about building robust, scalable, and modern payment systems that impact millions? We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our Payments Backend team, playing a vital role in our ongoing mission to modernize mission-critical financial applications.

You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, resilient solutions--with a strong emphasis on observability, scalability, and speed--while never compromising on quality.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services for payment processing using Java, Spring, and Kafka.
Drive modernization initiatives for our payments platform, focusing on reliability, performance, and security.
Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless CI/CD deployment and release processes.
Implement automated testing and foster a culture of code quality and continuous improvement.
Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and contribute to architectural decisions.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Backend Developerin payments or financial services.
Strong hands-on skills in Java, Spring, Hibernate,RabbitMQ, Kafka and distributed systems.
Practical experience with Kafka or alternative streaming/event-driven technologies.
Comfortable working with Linux, VMware, OpenShift and public cloud (AWS preferred).
Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Chef, Ansible).
Practical understanding of caching technologies and observability best practices.

Desirable

Prior experience in highly regulated or security-cleared environments.
Agile/Scrum team experience.
Strong communication skills, able to convey technical details clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
