Software Engineer (Full-Stack) -- Founding Team (San Francisco, CA)
We're on a mission to remove the grind from software development. Our team is building a next-generation internal developer platform that makes everything outside your code editor agentic -- deployments, performance, incidents, bugs, and beyond.
We're looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer who thrives in fast-moving, zero-to-one environments. This is a rare chance to join a two-time founding team at the earliest stage and help shape the technical, product, and cultural DNA of a company from day one.
What You'll Do
Event-Driven Backend: Architect a modern Node.js / Next.js / TypeScript and Supabase stack. Design schemas, event flows, and ingest developer-tool webhooks to power a real-time personalized engineering portal.
LLM Agentic Workflows: Build a system of agents -- MCP, tool use, memory, retry logic, context updates, feedback mechanisms.
Agent Experience (AX): Create intuitive product interfaces for human-agent interactions, experimenting with new paradigms for engineers and their digital co-pilots.
System Design & Strategy: Work directly with the founders to make key technical decisions balancing speed, scalability, and community engagement.
Why This Role Rocks
Work directly with two proven founders -- one built and sold a dev-tools startup used by 40M+ developers, the other led internal tools used daily by thousands of engineers at a global tech giant.
Shape the next category-defining developer platform before it launches.
Enjoy true ownership -- your fingerprints will be on the architecture, code, product experience, and company culture.
This Role Is for You If You:
Are a full-stack 0-to-1 builder who's shipped production code, especially in rapidly iterating Next.js apps and event-driven serverless architectures.
Are obsessed with agentic product experiences and curious about AI's impact on engineering users.
Have been a founder, a founding engineer, or have built something from scratch that people actually use or pay for.
Thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and know when to put out fires (and when to let them burn).
Value candid, direct communication and can collaborate on big decisions with openness and speed.
Feel passionate about helping engineers escape the repetitive "schlep" of development work.
This Role Is Not for You If You:
Aren't based in the Bay Area (this is an in-person, 6-days-per-week role; Sundays off).
Saturday Remote
Aren't excited to use tools like Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, etc., or to delete 80-90% of your code as you iterate.
Need strict structure, a clear career ladder, or dislike direct feedback and context-switching.
The Opportunity
Join an ultra-lean, ambitious founding team and sit side-by-side with the people who built and scaled the very products we're reinventing.
Get hands-on across the entire startup stack -- user research, bug fixes, customer support, events, and more.
Be one of the first employees at a company determined to become the next dev-tools category leader.
