Freelance Machine Learning Engineer - Azure (Hybrid + Paris)

About the Project

We are supporting a client with the design and rollout of cutting-edge Machine Learning solutions built entirely on Microsoft Azure technologies. This is a long-term freelance assignment, initially running until the end of 2025, with strong potential for extension.

What you'll be working on

- Building and deploying ML pipelines using Azure Machine Learning

- Delivering data science workloads within Microsoft Fabric

- Designing integrations and data models in Microsoft Dataverse

- Developing ML solutions in Python or R

- Setting up and maintaining MLOps practices with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions

What we're looking for

- Strong track record with Azure Machine Learning

- Hands-on experience in Microsoft Fabric and Data Factory

- Knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse

- Excellent programming ability in Python and/or R

- Background in MLOps using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions

- Familiarity with Azure Cognitive Services is a plus

- Strong communication skills in English (C1), German is a bonus

Contract Details

- Duration: Until end of 2025, with possible 6-month extension

- Engagement: Freelance/self-employed, hourly contract

- Start date: ASAP

- Location: Hybrid with flexible hours; travel to Paris one week per month during the first 2-3 months (expenses covered/separate daily rate)

Compensation: Paid per hour, with additional expenses for Paris travel
