Job Specifications

The Client Reporting Analyst is responsible for producing, reviewing, and delivering accurate and timely reports to clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders. This role sits within the middle office and acts as a bridge between the front office (relationship managers, portfolio managers) and the back office (operations, fund accounting, performance). The Analyst ensures that all client reports meet regulatory, contractual, and service-level standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver regular and ad-hoc client reports (e.g., performance, holdings, valuations, attribution, risk metrics).
Maintain and enhance reporting templates in line with client and regulatory requirements.
Liaise with internal teams (front office, operations, performance, risk, compliance) to source, validate, and reconcile data.
Conduct quality assurance checks on client deliverables to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency.
Respond to client and consultant queries regarding reporting and data.
Support onboarding of new clients, including setting up reporting schedules, templates, and data feeds.
Assist with automation and process improvements in reporting systems and workflows.
Ensure all reporting activities comply with internal controls, audit standards, and regulatory requirements.
Contribute to ad hoc projects (e.g. regulatory reporting, ESG reporting enhancements).

Essential:

1-3 years' experience in client reporting, performance reporting, or middle office within financial services (asset management, wealth management, investment banking, or similar).
Strong numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation).
Familiarity with investment data (e.g., NAVs, performance, benchmarks, portfolio holdings).
Strong communication skills to interact with internal stakeholders and clients.
Ability to manage deadlines and deliver in a high-pressure, client-focused environment.
