We are seeking an experienced A/V Live Engineer to support high-quality in-person, virtual, and hybrid events. This role requires technical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, contractors, and vendors. The ideal candidate is hands-on with live production systems, can troubleshoot under pressure, and has experience managing both event operations and technical workflows.

Responsibilities:

Manage, schedule, and operate live events in partnership with A/V Program Managers.
Facilitate and monitor key meetings, live streams, and hybrid events.
Configure, operate, and troubleshoot live event and meeting systems, including streaming platforms and hardware.
Oversee stage crews, equipment rentals, and vendor relationships to ensure seamless event execution.
Pull, manage, and terminate cables; maintain and troubleshoot A/V racks and equipment.
Provide post-production support, including editing and preparing content for distribution, cataloging, and archival.
Offer technical leadership and operational excellence by identifying root causes and implementing permanent solutions.
Guide other teams on best practices for live and virtual events.
Own and grow the Audio Visual Events Program, ensuring scalability and quality.
Coordinate scheduling for event operations team members.

Qualifications:

3-5+ years of hands-on experience in live event A/V engineering.
Strong technical knowledge of live streaming platforms, audio systems, video systems, and event production equipment.
Proven experience troubleshooting A/V systems under pressure in live environments.
Familiarity with cable management, signal flow, and rack systems.
Ability to manage vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational and scheduling skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
