Role Overview:

This role will help my client in the PE Strategy Consulting space remain at the forefront of emerging technologies in artificial intelligence - particularly generative AI. This role will serve as their dedicated "fast follower" resource tracking, assessing, and deploying AI-enabled solutions that can meaningfully impact their operations, client delivery, and competitive positioning.

Key Responsibilities

Market Scanning & Intelligence

Continuously track the latest developments in GPTs, generative AI, and other emerging AI technologies.
Analyze implications to the economics and scalability of new use cases, with a focus on professional services and consulting.

Opportunity Identification

Partner with internal stakeholders to map and understand consulting workflows, identifying high-impact areas for automation, augmentation, or re-engineering.
Develop prioritized opportunity roadmaps based on feasibility, ROI potential, and strategic fit.

Business Case Development

Rapidly build clear and data-backed business cases for proposed AI initiatives.
Recommend whether to pilot, scale, or sunset solutions based on measurable outcomes.

Rapid Prototyping & Deployment

Lead proof-of-concept projects, working cross-functionally to test new AI tools and workflows.
Oversee deployment plans, change management, and ongoing performance tracking.

Continuous Learning & Adaptation

Maintain expertise in AI technologies, with a focus on practical applications in a consulting environment.
Continuously refine our AI adoption playbook and share learnings internally.

Qualifications

Deep expertise in GPTs, generative AI, and related AI/ML technologies.
Demonstrated ability to evaluate and implement AI tools in a business context.
Strategic and analytical thinker with strong business acumen.
Willingness to learn the management consulting sector and its unique workflows.
Experience building and executing business cases with speed and rigor.
Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work at senior levels of the organization.
Comfort with ambiguity and ability to pivot quickly based on evolving priorities.
