Position Overview

As VP of Application Development, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring multiple engineering teams in the design, development, and deployment of scalable AI-powered applications. You will play a critical role in shaping our technology strategy and driving innovation across the organization.

What You Will Work On

Lead and inspire: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a talented team of engineers. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Architect and develop: Oversee the architecture and development of scalable and robust applications, leveraging both in-house AI models and third-party LLM and NLP technologies.
Drive AI strategy: Champion the use of AI across the organization. Identify opportunities to leverage AI to enhance existing products and create new ones.
Embrace modern technologies: Be a champion for modern software development practices, including event-driven architecture, cloud technologies (AWS, GCP), GitOps , and data lakes.
Ensure data integrity: Implement robust solutions for user/entity identity resolution and data classification.
Collaborate effectively: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, data science, and operations, to ensure alignment and successful execution of projects.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 in a leadership role.
Proven track record of building and scaling high-performance applications in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Experience evolving technical workstreams/workflows and leading organizational transformations.
Deep understanding of AI/ML technologies, including LLMs, NLP, and event-driven architectures.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and DevOps practices ( GitOps ).
Strong understanding of data lakes, data pipelines, and data security.
Experience with user/entity identity resolution and data privacy.
Ability to set a vision and inspire and motivate teams; can drive organizational change within and beyond functions.
Experienced delivering swiftly against deadlines across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Stays up to date on knowledge and understanding of innovative technologies .
Experience in a highly regulated industry such as healthcare.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Physical Requirements

85% desk and phone work
15% travel across office locations, customer visits, external visits as needed

Benefits

Competitive compensation, with a base salary of $200,000 - $280,000 (Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience)
Eligible for Company Performance-based Bonus Program, based on individual and company performance
