Job Summary
We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented JuniorProduct Analyst to join our Product team with a focus on user acceptance testing (UAT) and product feature implementation for our homeowners insurance products. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in insurance product development, with a strong interest in testing and validating new features for homeowners insurance systems.
You will be instrumental in testing new product builds, verifying rating and rule logic, validating policy workflows, and ensuring our systems reflect the intended insurance product requirements. This position works closely with experienced Product Managers, Underwriting, QA, and Engineering teams to support high-quality product launches.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute UAT plans, test cases, and scripts based on detailed product requirements, rating algorithms, and business rules.
Test new insurance product features, including eligibility, rating, forms, coverages, and underwriting rules across policy administration systems and digital portals.
Collaborate with product and underwriting teams to understand and design product workflows and data behind homeowners insurance processes.
Document and report issues or bugs found during testing using tools like JIRA.
Support training, documentation, and post-implementation review of new features as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities
Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively resolve complex situations and issues. Deals well with ambiguity.
Strong attention to detail
Curious, collaborative, and excited to learn how insurance products are built and tested.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Proficient in Excel
Familiarity with documentation tools, and ticketing systems such as JIRA to support analysis and product delivery.
Required Education And Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Math, Statistics, Insurance, or a related field.
0-2 years of relevant experience in product analysis or insurance operations (internships included).
Preferred Requirements
Internship or coursework related to insurance technology or business analysis
Exposure to policy administration or claims management systems.
Knowledge of homeowners insurance products.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Salary: Starting at $70,000 annually. Candidate's skills, experience and abilities will be taken into consideration for final offer
