Synapri are partnering a luxury property and leisure company who are looking for a Backend Developer to join on a full time basis! The role will primarily focus on the development, enhancement, and support of a range of different products while having the opportunity to work within a smaller IT function with full autonomy across the backend suite.

The role requires proven and demonstrable experience of delivering sizeable .NET applications to production. Extensive knowledge of both .NET and C# are also essential to ensure continued development of solutions and products for all brands across the client's group. Please see below for more information!

Salary: PS80,000-PS90,000

Location: 5 days onsite in Central London

What you'll be doing:

Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs using .NET and C#
Providing solutions for a range of web technologies such as Next.js and React.js and Native App technologies including iOS and Android
Contributing to system architecture discussions and solution design
Writing clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices
Collaborating with frontend developers, QA, and product teams to deliver robust solutions
Optimising performance and ensuring security across applications

What we're looking for:

Strong commercial experience with .NET (Core/Framework) and C# including LINQ, JSON and Inversion of Control
Solid understanding of API design (REST, GraphQL desirable)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure)
Good knowledge of software design principles (SOLID, clean architecture, microservices)
Must have a solid understanding on the fundamentals of Event-Driven Architecture, including the roles of APIs, Webhooks and Integration Platforms such as Zapier and make.it
Understanding of the principles behind Infrastructure as Code (ideally Terraform) and its use in CI/CD Pipeline based deployment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment
