Iris's client, one of the world's largest multinational Investment banking and financial services corporation is looking to hire a Senior Java Fullstack developer for a Long-Term opportunity.

Work Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid Onsite - 3 day's a week)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Angular Full Stack Developer Lead to join our Business Banking technology team.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of full stack web applications using Java (Spring Boot) and Angular (v2+).

Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and architects to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.

Drive best practices in coding, design, architecture, and agile methodologies.

Mentor and guide junior developers; perform code reviews and ensure code quality and performance.

Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment.

Ensure security, scalability, and compliance with regulatory and business standards, particularly in the Business Banking context.

Troubleshoot issues across the full technology stack.

Coordinate with QA, DevOps, and other teams for CI/CD pipeline and production support.

Required Skills and Experience:

10+ years of full stack development experience with strong hands-on skills in:

Java 8+/Spring Boot

Angular 2+

RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture.

Strong experience in leading development teams and mentoring developers.

Proven expertise in database design and development (SQL and/or NoSQL).

Experience with CI/CD tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), and DevOps pipelines.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
