Senior Cloud Infrastructure Manager/Architect | Peabody, MA | $170,000 - $185,000 with 10% bonus

A long-standing, high-growth financial institution is seeking a technically exceptional and strategically minded Senior Cloud Infrastructure Manager. With over $5 billion in assets and a reputation for stability and innovation, this organization has transformed its infrastructure over the past four years, migrating the bulk of its compute into Azure and exploring AI-driven solutions. It's one of the fastest-growing firms in the state, with a strong track record and a leadership team focused on future-forward technology.

In this role, you'll be the most senior technical resource in a team of four, leading escalations, driving architectural decisions, and mentoring engineers. You'll split your time between hands-on engineering and leadership, with a strong focus on cloud projects and integration.

What You'll Do

Lead troubleshooting and escalations across cloud and on-prem environments
Architect and implement Azure-based infrastructure solutions
Manage and mentor a team of 3 system engineers
Own complex project work and delegate tasks across the team
Balance 65% project delivery with 35% operational support
Drive integration efforts between on-prem and cloud systems
Collaborate with senior leadership, including CIO and CTO

What You'll Bring

7-8+ years in IT infrastructure roles (no upper limit)
4+ years working in cloud environments (Azure required)
Strong Microsoft stack experience (95% MS environment)
Proven experience in architectural or senior engineering roles
2-3 years of direct management experience preferred
Ability to lead and mentor while remaining hands-on
Excellent troubleshooting and escalation handling skills
Strong documentation and process discipline

Nice to Haves

Scripting (Python, JSON, Java)
Integration frameworks and storage technologies (Rubrik, Pure Storage)
Financial services or banking experience
Bachelor's degree
