JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is is looking for a Business System Analyst 2 to join one of their development squads. This role acts as the key link between business teams and engineers--helping turn customer and technical needs into clear, actionable tasks. The BSA / Jira Administrator will manage and maintain the team's backlog using JIRA, ensuring work is well-organized, prioritized, and visible to all stakeholders. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with JIRA administration and reporting, understands agile delivery, and brings a background in process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, retrospectives). They'll help streamline workflows, resolve cross-team blockers, and support continuous improvement across squads. This is a starting as a 12 month contract, fully remote across Canada.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

3+years experience Jira Administration and Reporting
Team Lead/Scrum
Backlog Management
Agile Methodologies
Process Improvement Experience
Stakeholder Management

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Enabling adoption of change including Lean, Six-Sigma, agile/retros, etc.
Scrum Master experience
Familiarity with APIs and interface agreements
Change Management Experience
