For our client, we're looking for a UI/Qt Developer.

Long term assignment (+2 years)
Hybrid model (onsite/remote)
Nice team to work with
Location: Brussels - next to the trainstation
Freelance only

UI Developer

We're looking for a UI Developer to help modernize the software platform that manages transportation and safety in Belgium. This is a large-scale and meaningful project: your work will directly impact the safe operation of vehicles across the country.

What you'll do

Develop new features while also supporting existing modules.
Write precise and reliable code - safety is critical.
Contribute to the technical design and implementation of the system.
Create clear documentation so colleagues can easily follow your work.
Depending on your experience, take on a lead role in design choices, tools, and methodologies.

Tech stack you'll work with

Rust (strong programming skills required)
Qt (you're an expert or ready to become one)
Linux (basic knowledge for development & debugging)
GIT (version control)
Nice-to-have: Java and/or Python

Who you are

You speak Dutch or French, plus English.
At least 5y experience as a developer
You're precise and structured - safety matters.
A good communicator and strong team player.
Proactive: you don't just code, you think along and bring ideas.
