Job Title: Data Analyst / Scientist

We are partnering with an innovative travel technology company to appoint a versatile Data Analyst / Scientist to support both Marketing and Product teams. This hybrid role blends analytical depth with applied data science: 80% focused on data analysis & reporting, and 20% on building algorithms and models that enhance booking performance and drive product innovation. You'll play a key role in extracting insights, democratizing data across teams, and delivering impactful solutions for vacation rental managers and Airbnb hosts.

Responsibilities:

Analytical (80%)

* Conduct in-depth data studies and extract insights relevant to vacation rental managers & Airbnb hosts

* Collect and integrate internal & external datasets, including web scraping initiatives

* Develop compelling reports, charts, and video summaries to communicate findings

* Present data-driven insights in an engaging and accessible format for diverse stakeholders

Data Science (20%)

* Contribute to AI-driven product strategies and enhancements

* Develop algorithms leveraging both internal and external datasets

* Optimize and improve existing models to enhance booking performance

* Build systems to democratize data access and insights across all teams

What We're Looking For:

Technical Expertise

* 3+ years' demonstrated expertise in SQL

* 1+ years' experience with ELT tools such as dbt

* Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Hevo, Fivetran)

* Proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy) for data processing

* Familiarity or interest in AI frameworks such as PyTorch

* Experience with data lakehouse platforms (Postgres, BigQuery)

* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights
