About the Opportunity
MoonPay's business has been exploding over the last 24 months, and with it, we've grown our social channels over 200% on X, Instagram, and LinkedIn in the last 12 months with engaged communities and unique content strategies. Now we need to expand our presence on TikTok to become the definitive voice of finance and crypto on that platform and create a brand that resonates with Gen Z and the next wave of crypto curious people who want to take control of their financial future. The right candidate for this role is comfortable growing MoonPay's TikTok fast and creating unique content that lives exclusively on the platform.
What you will do
Lead and own MoonPay's TikTok content strategy -- from ideation to execution
Produce high-quality, short-form video content that entertains and engages audiences around finance, crypto, and internet culture
Be the face (or voice) of our brand on TikTok, acting as both on-camera talent and behind-the-scenes editor
Stay on top of TikTok trends, challenges, and viral formats, and adapt them in ways that feel relevant and native to our brand
Collaborate closely with the Social Media Manager, Design, Community, and Brand Marketing teams to ensure consistent tone, voice, and visual identity
Analyze performance metrics and iterate based on what resonates most with our audience
About You
Have 1+ years of experience creating content for TikTok, ideally for a brand or your personal brand
Have a deep understanding of TikTok's algorithm, content formats, and emerging trends
Are confident in front of and behind the camera -- you can direct, film, edit, and post-produce independently
Know how to create within constraints -- you can do a lot with just an iPhone and an idea
Are interested in crypto, web3, or fintech -- no technical expertise required, but curiosity is a must
Bonus: You have motion graphics or graphic design experience, or have a following of your own
