Randstad CPE team is looking to onboard an experienced Assistant Site Manager in Corby, Northamptonshire to support Build team in delivering a high:quality residential unit (2:5 bedroom homes)

Job Title: Assistant Site Manager

Location: Corby, Northamptonshire

Contract: until December

Pay: GBP200.00 to GBP250.00 Day Rate

About The Role

As an Assistant Site Manager, you will work closely with the Site Manager to oversee daily construction activities, ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, and maintain high standards of build quality.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Site Manager in ensuring all site operations comply with health, safety, and environmental policies, including conducting site inductions, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
Oversee subcontractors and trades to ensure all work is completed to the required specification and quality standards, managing the inspection and snagging process.
Monitor and drive the daily build schedule, coordinating materials, plant, and labour to ensure homes are delivered on time and within budget.
Lead and motivate site teams and subcontractors, fostering strong working relationships and addressing on:site queries promptly.
Assist with the final inspection and handover process, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Complete and maintain accurate daily site reports, documentation, and progress trackers.

Required

Proven experience as an Assistant Site Manager or experienced Site Supervisor, ideally working on new build residential/housing projects.
Strong working knowledge of building regulations and health and safety obligations.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
Experience with NHBC standards and inspections.
Valid SMSTS, CSCS card First Aid at Work certificate.
