We're working with a leading global asset manager undergoing a major Market Data Transformation programme. The business is consolidating its market data feeds and migrating them to a modern Snowflake-based architecture.
The team is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with hands-on experience in market data contract analysis, automation, and data feed consolidation to support this transformation.
Initial 6-Month Contract | Inside IR35 | Hybrid Working (3 Days Onsite in London)
This role will focus on analysing existing market data feeds and contracts, extracting key entitlements and usage rights, and supporting the migration of data feeds to Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have experience leveraging automation, AI, or other tools to extract and analyse data from large sets of contractual documentation and vendor agreements.
You'll work closely with Market Data, Procurement, Legal, and Architecture teams to ensure compliance with data usage terms while improving efficiency and governance in how data is consumed and distributed across the organisation.
Experience:
Strong background as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst in Market Data, Reference Data, or Data Management environments within Financial Services or Asset Management.
Demonstrable experience with market data vendor contracts (eg, Bloomberg, Refinitiv, ICE, SIX, Markit, etc.).
Experience applying automation or AI-driven tools (eg, NLP, document parsing, contract extraction, or similar) to analyse or extract structured information from documentation.
Knowledge of Snowflake or other modern cloud data platforms.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities, particularly in translating technical and contractual requirements into actionable insights.
