C#/Angular Developer - Robotics & Space Division (MDA)

Location: Brampton, ON (Hybrid - 3 days onsite/week)

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Duration: 6 months (with possible extension)

Work Hours: 40 hours/week

About the Project

Join client is in building Canadarm3, Canada's contribution to NASA's Gateway mission - the first space station orbiting the Moon. This groundbreaking project supports human and robotic missions to the lunar surface and beyond.

As a Senior Ground Software Engineer, you'll help design and develop web-based ground control software, simulators, and test tools for robotic arms, rovers, and other space robotics. You'll work alongside a talented team of 15 engineers, contributing to a mission that's shaping the future of space exploration.

Key Responsibilities

Lead design and development of ground control software and simulators
Document and communicate software designs clearly
Implement and test modular, extendable, and efficient software solutions
Review code and mentor junior developers
Estimate tasks and collaborate on coding standards and processes

Must-Have Skills

10+ years of software development experience
Strong experience with C#, ASP.Net, and Angular
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with ReactJS and Playwright
