Blair West is supporting an innovative, technical manufacturing business to find a Chief Operating Officer. The business is in 'scale up' phase and pursuing both organic and inorganic growth opportunities.

This is a newly created position to oversee the performance of the company's UK manufacturing sites.

The opportunity:

To join the board of a 'scale up' business with a positively disruptive technology.
To oversee and drive the performance of all UK manufacturing sites.
To participate in the identification and evaluation of new acquisition targets.
To manage the integration and alignment of acquired businesses.

You'll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:

A passion for leading and developing high performance teams.
Natural enthusiasm for the opportunities and challenges inherent in a scaling up business.
The ability to operate autonomously and manage through ambiguity.
Proven process improvement and operational efficiency expertise.
Communication skills to engage and motivate across a senior leadership team.
