Contract C++ Engineers - Trading Systems (3-6 months, rates negotiable)

I'm supporting a top-tier systematic trading firm on a joint-venture build-out with a multi-billion AUM hedge fund. This is a greenfield project, not refactoring legacy code, where you'll contribute to the design and development of next-generation trading systems used globally.

What you'll do:

Build ultra-low-latency, high-performance C++ components for execution & trading infrastructure
Work closely with quant researchers and engineers on scalable, reliable systems
Deliver production-ready solutions in a high-stakes environment

What we're looking for:

Strong modern C++ (C++14/17/20) and STL knowledge
Experience with multithreading, concurrency, and high-performance systems
Background in trading / market data / exchange connectivity (preferred, not essential)
Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment

Details:

Initial 6 month contract (extension possible)
Rates fully negotiable depending on experience
Fully Remote US/ Occasional travel
