We’re looking for a Data Retention Manager to join our team in Sheffield Office.

Data Retention Management is responsible for ensuring that the full lifecycle of records from creation, storage and timely disposition is in line with legal and regulatory retention schedules across the UK Bank. Example responsibilities include ensure controls are designed and operating effectively to mitigate data risk, lead the UK data retention governance forum and represent the interests of UK business data retention across data management governance forums and monitor key data quality metrics and key data storage control indicators.k.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure data retention controls are designed and operating effectively to mitigate data risks.

Lead the UK Data Retention Governance Forum and represent business interests across wider data management governance forums.

Monitor and report on key data quality metrics and data storage control indicators.

Support continuous improvement in data lifecycle and compliance processes.

Requirements:

Strong background in Data Retention, Data Governance, or Information Management.

Experience with regulatory and compliance frameworks for data lifecycle management.

Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
