Distinguished Engineer - Cryptography, C#, Rust

Location: Remote

Contract: 6-months initial

We are seeking a Distinguished Engineer to lead the design and implementation of a cutting-edge, zero-knowledge proof (ZKP)-based blockchain platform tailored for our financial client.

Key Responsibilities:

Cryptography Expertise: Deep understanding of cryptography at the lowest levels, including elliptic curves, lattice-based schemes, and post-quantum algorithms

Hands-On ZKP Development: Proven ability to implement zero-knowledge proofs (e.g., zk-SNARKs, zk-STARKs) from scratch in C# or Rust, with experience in C# interop for cross-language integration.

Blockchain Architecture Experience: Demonstrated track record of building or contributing to production blockchain systems, with a focus on scalability for financial applications (e.g., handling millions of TPS in a permissioned or hybrid environment).

Programming Proficiency: Expert-level skills in Rust (for performance-critical components) and C# (for enterprise integration), including experience with frameworks like Substrate, Cosmos SDK, or custom consensus engines.

Finance Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with banking and asset management workflows, including regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, SEC rules) and secure transaction models.
