What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Assist in the support and documentation of DAST, IaC, SAST, and SCA solutions, including operational processes
Support security and technology operations to maintain the availability and security of deployed applications
Operate vulnerability scanning to identify potential security risks
Collaborate with engineering staff to investigate and remediate vulnerabilities
Provide support for Security Operations and Incident Response efforts

What Is Required (Qualifications)

Knowledge of common threat vectors, methodologies, and payloads/exploits
Base application programming knowledge is desired
Strong interdepartmental communication skills
Operational experience with security scanning tools such as BrightSec, Mend, and Snyk
AA/AS degree combined with 1+ years of overall application security experience and/or application development experience

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Information security industry-recognized certification(s) such as GSEC or Security+
Operational experience with security automation using Python
Knowledge of penetration testing methodologies and practices
Familiarity with forensic practices and procurement processes
Working knowledge of ITIL, including incident, problem, and change management
