Workmode: Onsite 3 days a week, 2 days remote

About the role:

Our client is looking for an experienced FPGA Engineer for a freelance assignment in the Antwerp region. You will focus on VHDL-based design, testing, and documentation, supporting the development of advanced digital systems in safety-critical environments

Responsibilities:

Hardware development using VHDL for FPGA
Verification and testing of developed modules
Documentation of design and test results
Collaboration with the wider engineering team

Skills & Experience:

Proven experience as an FPGA Engineer
Strong proficiency in VHDL
Experience in safety-critical environments
Familiarity with simulation, verification, and documentation processes
English-speaking, Dutch is a plus
Availability to be onsite a couple of days a week

Location & Duration:

East-Flanders / Antwerp region, Belgium
Initial 6 months with extension possible
Start date: ASAP
