Interim Group Financial Controller – 6-Month FTC

Technology / SaaS

Central London (Zone 1, Hybrid: 2 days per week in office)

£80,000 – £100,000 pro rata

We are partnering with a private equity–backed international SaaS and technology business to appoint an Interim Group Financial Controller on a six-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to extend.

This is a key leadership role overseeing the Group finance function during a period of growth and transformation. Reporting to the Finance Director and managing a team of four across Accounting and FinOps, the successful candidate will take ownership of financial reporting, consolidation, and control across multiple entities and international operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of Group financial control and statutory reporting under FRS 102
Lead the preparation of consolidated Group accounts across multiple entities and jurisdictions
Manage month-end and year-end close processes and act as the primary contact for external auditors
Drive improvements in financial systems, controls, and reporting (using NetSuite)
Lead, mentor, and develop a small, high-performing finance team
Support the Finance Director and leadership team with financial insight and ad-hoc projects

Candidate Profile:

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with proven post-qualified experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance leadership role. You’ll bring:

Strong technical accounting knowledge (FRS 102)
Experience managing multi-entity and international consolidations
Hands-on experience with NetSuite
The ability to operate confidently and autonomously in a fast-paced environment

Experience within a SaaS or technology-led business would be an advantage. This is a hybrid role based in Central London, typically two days per week in the office. The ideal candidate will be available immediately or at short notice.
