Payments Technical Account Manager – 6-8 month contract Hybrid – London

(ideally converting to PERMANENT)

My client are looking for an experienced technical payments account manager to work in their operations team. Role will be dealing mainly with Acquirers and to some extent issuers.

Day to day duties are:

Dealing with customers – so need good communication skills

Resolving incidents

Improving card processing

Network Processes

Resolving issues around late settlement

You will need to have good technical understanding of card payments operations process.

Need to have good SQL to extract data from system and do analysis. They use Snowflake. Also use tableau to extract data

The role gives support to acquirers, network-to-network partners, issuers, and processors. Researches complex situations and supports participants with operations.

Supports business development teams to expand acceptance and Approval rates optimization

Supports participants through the semi-annual release process. Manages and coordinates certification.

Ensures participants are in compliance with operating rules and regulations. Responsible for EMEA Compliance activities co-ordination (e.g. waivers, auditing) and BCP data reviews.

Engages participants and internal stakeholders to support network initiatives. Settlement issue/resolution co-ordination (Rupay & others) and ProtectBuy/SCA central project management/coordination.

Analyzes end-to-end transaction processing, troubleshoots issues and acceptance complaints, and supports issuer & Acquirer launches.

Lead Salesforce effort to maximise efficiency and automate EMEA reporting.

Manage EMEA data & presentations for forums, business reviews and ad-hoc reporting.

Coordinate with Snr Mgrs & Dir. Employee engagement activities.

Contract is for 8 months with the ideal candidate converting to permanent.

Ideally you will have come from a card payments scheme.
