Senior Analyst, Vulnerability and Compliance Management, Brampton, ON
In this role working with the Vulnerability Management team, the Senior Security Specialist will play a key role in different stages of the VM program: starting from asset discovery, scanning, risk analysis, reporting and involve in integrating the vulnerability and configuration management tools with different technologies. You will work with technology and infrastructure directs from across the LCL family of companies and key suppliers, partners, vendors, and managed service providers.
What You’ll Do:
You will be responsible to manage the vulnerability management and configuration tools
To assist this mandate, you will work with technology and infrastructure coordinators, managed security and threat intelligence service providers to develop, automate, maintain and evolve VM program and manage reporting structure of different categories of vulnerabilities based on its severity
Working with database, Power BI reports, CMDB, XSOAR to generate and escalate remediation activities
Rollout vm agents, troubleshoot with various teams
Generate risk based reports and engage various infrastructure and application groups on remediation
Attend various meetings to review the plans and guide the teams on remediation/solutions
What you Bring:
Vulnerability management tools, like Qualys, Rapid 7, Tenable or any other
Database, PowerBI and scripting knowledge
Configuration, scanning, policy compliance scanning, reporting,
Risk prioritization to communicate with stakeholders
Enterprise server and virtualized infrastructure hardware, Cloud operations including GCP, Azure, Oracle
Operating Systems and the configuration
Dockers, containers on various cloud systems
Policy compliance like CIS Benchmark, NIST
Industry standard scoring models such as CVSS, EPSS etc.
Industry certifications (ISC2: CISSP, CCSP; ISACA: CISM; SANS: GSEC, GCIA, GMON) are strong assets
