Overview
This is a small, agile, and fast-growing team developing AI-powered solutions for real-world impact. We're looking for a Mid-Level Software Engineer to help us build and deploy high-quality AI-driven applications. You'll collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to deliver scalable software using modern technologies, with a focus on Python, TypeScript, and AI system design.
This is a role for a hands-on engineer who enjoys problem-solving, takes ownership of their work, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with a strong learning culture.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain AI-enabled services using Python and TypeScript.
Work closely with product owners, internal teams, and clients to gather requirements, deliver features, and solve technical challenges.
Design and document scalable system architectures, contributing to decisions across both engineering and operations.
Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate and enhance code quality.
Engage in agile practices, including retrospectives, stand-ups, and planning sessions.
Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and ongoing improvement of production systems.
Collaborate across teams while also working independently to drive work forward.
About You
Proven experience building and maintaining production-level software systems.
Proficient in Python and/or TypeScript.
Familiar with modern AI tools and frameworks, and excited to work in an AI-centric environment.
Strong communicator, comfortable with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Problem solver with a bias for action and delivering outcomes.
Experience working in fast-paced, ambiguous, and cross-functional teams.
Passionate about continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation.
Must have the legal right to work in the UK at the time of application.
