Despite being highly rated, the corporate tax offering at this leading global law firm is currently somewhat less integrated than it would like in London. For example, unlike in other jurisdictions where tax is involved from the outset, the sizable corporate team in London tends to involve the tax team on matters far later than it should. This approach is sub-optimal for clients and underutilises the firm’s tax capabilities. Moreover, as a result, significant cross-border tax advisory opportunities are often slipping through the cracks.

Firm leadership is keen to correct this and seeks a transactional and advisory tax partner with “stage presence”, a strong bedside manner, and the force of personality needed to unlock the practice’s full potential to help reshape the corporate tax offering.
