Data Management Analyst-£500-£600 per day (via Umbrella)
Hybrid - 2 days per week in Central London
We are seeking an experienced Data Management Analyst to join a leading specialist Insurance Company on a long-term contract.
This role will play a key part in establishing and embedding a robust data governance framework, improving data quality, defining data assets, and ensuring strong alignment between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead data discovery, scanning, profiling, and classification activities.
Act as a bridge between technical data teams and business users to ensure mutual understanding and delivery of business needs.
Integrate and implement data governance tools to support enterprise data management.
Deploy and manage data profiling tools (eg, Informatica DQ) to monitor and improve data quality.
Develop and maintain a data dictionary with clear business definitions, rules, and data lineage documentation.
Skills & Experience Required
Extensive experience as a Data Management Analyst, with a strong focus on Data Quality and Data Governance.
Proven ability to deliver and embed data governance strategies within complex organisations.
Deep understanding of data governance principles, metadata management, and data quality best practices.
Hands-on experience with tools such as Collibra, Informatica, or equivalent data governance platforms.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Strong stakeholder management experience, with the ability to engage effectively across technical and business teams.
Background in Financial Services, ideally Insurance
