I'm currently looking for a Frontend Platform Engineer to join a Global commodities Trading company to help lead

This company has been growing their tech division steadily over the last 3 years and is looking to for a React & Typescript specialist to join their Centre of Excellence team.

The company are based in central London and have a fantastic high performing working culture. They have been increasing their adoption of Modern front end tech and are now looking for a Lead or Platform Engineer to unify and progress their approach.

This is a fantastic opportunity to break into the commodities sector and take a position yourself as the React SME throughout the entire organisation.

Core Responsibilities

Own the component library and surround libraries
Work closely with Design, Product and DevOps team
Act as a React champion throughout the growing Dev team, mentoring and upskilling

Requirements

Expertise in React 18+ and Typescript
Previous experience in building and maintaining component libraries
Ability to impact change and mentor/unify developers
Some Experience working in trading, banking, or financial service (Desirable)
Experience working within a platform team serving multiple product teams (Desirable)

Package

base salaries up to £150K with TC over £200K
12% pension
