Keysight is looking for a creative and security-minded individual to fill an internship opportunity on their ATI research team in Austin, TX. In this position, you will be focused mainly on performing Blackbox fuzz testing of IoT devices using a range of different protocols to discover new security vulnerabilities. You will be responsible for creating a debugging environment where you can triage and root cause discovered vulnerabilities as well as designing compelling and reproducible demos around the vulnerabilities. You will also have the opportunity to work with seasoned security researchers where needed with the end goal of creating a fully-functioning exploit.

Qualifications
Masters or PhD Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering or related field
Proven experience with fuzzing and vulnerability discovery
Solid understanding of security concepts, threat modeling, and network protocols
Experience with Python and Docker
Familiarity with radio communication such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, etc
Familiarity with hardware communication such as UART, JTAG, SPI, etc
Preferred Experience
Knowledge of hardware and software debugging techniques is a strong plus
Research experience
Austin Texas salary range: MIN $37.83 - MAX $47.62
Based on experience, education and skills, most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed above.
Keysight Internship Program Requirements
Candidates who wish to be considered must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university as of September 2025. Applicants who have graduated before September 2025 will not be considered unless they are starting a MS or PHD program after graduating.
