Performance & QA Engineer - AWS - Outside IR35

Rate: £700 per day

IR35: Outside

Duration: 6 Months Contract

Location: London - Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

Define and execute QA and testing strategies aligned with infrastructure delivery goals.
Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and performance benchmarking tools.
Integrate QA practices within AWS infrastructure delivery — e.g., audit services for IAM role validation and related compliance checks.
Collaborate closely with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to ensure reliability and scalability across all environments.

Essential Skills & Experience

Proven background in AWS (hands-on with cloud infrastructure and services).
Strong knowledge of performance development testing and automation frameworks.
Experience with API and backend testing tools (e.g. Postman, JMeter, Locust, or similar).
Ability to design and implement performance testing strategies and benchmarking frameworks.
Solid understanding of QA integration in CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code environments.
