We are looking for a Digital Technology Lead AI Solutions & Multimodal AI who is innovative, collaborative, and impact-driven to join us in our DT Tech Strategy & Solutions team, based in our HQ in Anderlecht, Belgium.
About The Role
You will play a key role in shaping UCB’s global AI strategy by designing and implementing advanced AI solutions. Your work will enable multimodal capabilities, integrating text, image, audio, and structured data while ensuring ethical and responsible AI practices. This is a global role with significant impact on UCB’s digital transformation and patient-focused mission.
Who You’ll Work With
You will be part of a dynamic team driving UCB’s digital technology strategy. You’ll collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders across global functions to deliver innovative AI solutions that align with compliance, security, and strategic goals.
What You’ll Do
Design and deliver AI initiatives from prototype to full-scale solutions
Lead development of multimodal AI capabilities across text, image, audio, and data
Align stakeholders on AI strategies and ensure value-driven outcomes
Stay ahead of emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities for UCB
Promote AI adoption and awareness across the organization
Coach junior colleagues and manage external contractors
Interested? For this role we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
Minimum 5 years’ experience in AI application development and software engineering
Expertise in predictive, prescriptive, and generative AI solutions
Hands-on experience with Python, graph/vector databases, and agent frameworks
Strong knowledge of agile product management and iterative development
Excellent communication skills and commitment to ethical AI practices
