What are your contributions to the team?

Support new and current projects by becoming an ‘expert’ in new technical arenas depending on the needs and requirements of each R&D project, and the technology that needs to be investigated.
Support and integrate the creation of an extended reality lab at the Bombardier site.
Participate in the Bombardier XR framework development and support of use cases.
Regularly communicate and present your achievements to the teams and inspire innovative design thinking.

How to thrive in this role?

You are in current university or CEGEP program.
You have advanced experience in 3D modelling tools, more specifically Blender and Rhino.
You have a very good experience in 3D optimization and light mapping rendering.
You have some understanding of Unreal or Unity Engine.
You have the necessary skills to be able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
You have good communication skills.
You enjoy working in a team environment and are comfortable working in a matrix reporting relationship. .
You are autonomous, organized and have strong analytical skills.
You have good skills in MS Office suite.
You convey complex ideas simply through written reports and presentation material.
You can work with a minimum level of supervision and be proactive in proposing solutions and improvements.

Location: Administrative Centre (CA)
Duration: 8 months
Flexible workplace-Hybrid

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
