Job Specifications

Cloud Consulting have an urgent requirement for an experienced PHP/Delphi Software Engineer to join a high-profile project for a leading company.
The role is remote (with the odd day on-site in Leeds) and is inside of IR35.
Role scope :
The application is written in PHP, Delphi on a MS SQL database. The move involves database changes to Postgres SQL and the removal of Windows for Linux. Dev required to look at the Delphi dependencies on the existing application and how we can re-write those if required in a modern language (C# or .Net)
Key skills:
Delphi
Experience with Lazarus, an open-source IDE for Delphi, is useful
Experience with Web Sockets and Rest APIs in Delphi is a plus. This is mainly for backup Delphi components, there might be some small bit of Delphi UI work, but it's minimal
AWS, Docker are also nice to have
