We are seeking a Senior Roblox Developer to join our team and help deliver the next generation of high-quality Roblox experiences for top-tier clients. Candidates will be required to go through a multi-step hiring process and complete a coding challenge.
Overview
The Senior Roblox Developer will contribute across the full development stack, including gameplay systems, UI, backend logic, and data flows. We are looking for a candidate who is confident across the full Roblox development stack and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal applicant has strong experience building gameplay systems, UI interfaces, and backend features, with a solid understanding of structured development practices using Git and Rojo. Knowledge of UI component frameworks such as Roact or React is desirable, as is the ability to write clean, modular, and scalable code. A proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Develop front-end gameplay mechanics and core game systems
Implement polished UI/UX elements within Roblox Studio
Build and maintain backend data systems, integrations, and persistence logic
Collaborate closely with producers, designers, artists, QA, and other developers
Participate in planning, code reviews, and architectural discussions
Use Git, Rojo, and structured development workflows to ensure clean, scalable project structure
Support feature launches, bug fixing, and iteration on live experiences
Required Skills & Experience
Senior-level Roblox development experience using Luau and Roblox Studio
Proficiency with Git, Rojo, and modern development workflows
Strong understanding of full-stack development for Roblox (gameplay, UI, backend data)
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate clearly
A portfolio demonstrating real Roblox systems, tools, or gameplay work
A CV and GitHub (or equivalent) showcasing past work or contributions
Preferred (Not Required)
Experience shipping live Roblox games
Familiarity with performance optimisation and best practices
Experience contributing to internal tools or open-source Roblox projects
Experience with branded or commercial Roblox work
Location & Working Hours
This is a Full-Time position, fully remote with the option for UK employees to attend the office in Leeds. Applicants must reside in the United Kingdom, or United States. The core working hours are from 9:00am to 5:30pm (UK time)
