Group Details:
Perform software development and programming to create new features and enhance functionality on a mission critical platform. Adapt and extend existing re-usable components and libraries. Develop high quality software while meeting deadlines. Assist with rollout and post production support. Present ideas for system improvements. Design or upgrade existing software to ensure product performance and quality expectations are met
Tradeweb Technology jobs are fully remote. The Tradeweb Technology hub is located in our Jersey City office which can be used for team meetings and collaboration efforts. There may be days where travel to the Jersey City office is recommended for organizational off-sites.
Job Responsibilities
Creating new features and enhancing functionality on a mission critical platform
Adapts and extend existing re-usable components and libraries.
Develops high quality software while meeting deadlines
Presents ideas for system improvements
Design or upgrade an existing software to ensure product performance and quality expectations are met
Assists with rollout and post-production support
Qualifications
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline
4-10 years of working experience as a back-end developer, distributed systems experience is a plus
Experience with building distributed and highly scalable microservices
Java, Spring, Spring boot with Reactive and multi-threaded programming
3-4 years of Java development experience
3-5 years of C++ development experience, including building high-throughput, low-latency, event-driven multithreaded applications
Experience with algorithms, data structures, and concurrency
Kafka, Oracle AQ or similar high-speed messaging system
Experience with distributed database systems like Redis, Cassandra or any other NoSQL database
Oracle PL/SQL programming, Proficiency in SQL
UNIX / Linux operating systems
Front end experience in ReactJS, Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS is a plus
Must demonstrate strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, concurrency, and java programming
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong ability to interpret business requirements
Must be a creative problem solver
Preferred Experience:
Familiarity with Linux-based environments and command-line tools
Elastic Search experience is a plus
Exposure to real-time systems or financial technology environments
Understanding of CI/CD workflows and DevOps best practices
Experience working with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
