Position: AI Personal Finance Data Specialist

Type: Full-time

Compensation: $90,000–$200,000/year

Location: Based in Palo Alto, CA (in-office, 5 days per week) or fully remote

Commitment: 40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

Use proprietary tools to label, annotate, and evaluate personal finance data.
Provide expert input across scenarios involving investing, budgeting, and tax planning.
Collaborate with research teams to train and refine AI systems for financial reasoning.
Help design and improve annotation tools tailored for financial data.
Interpret evolving task instructions accurately and deliver consistent, high-quality results.
Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

Professional experience in personal finance or related fields.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Excellent analytical and organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and make sound judgments with limited information.
Demonstrated interest in technology and AI applications in finance.

Preferred

Relevant certification or training (e.g., CFP, CFA, Enrolled Agent).
Experience mentoring or training others in financial planning, investing, or tax preparation.
Familiarity with AI workflows, data annotation, or related technical environments.
Comfortable recording short audio or video sessions for data collection.
