The Role

To assist the Membership Communications team with developing and delivering the member communication and marketing strategy. This involves creating effective member communications which support a wider member engagement strategy and consultation programme including events, sponsorship and benefit packages.

This is a Fixed Term Contract until December 2026.

Responsibilities

As our Communications Executive, some of your day to day duties will include…

Support the Membership Communications Manager to devise, create and implement proactive communication strategies that support membership comms team objectives.
Assist in the delivery of segmented member communications including the monthly e-newsletter, email marketing, business updates, AGM, and events support (invitations, feedback and admin).
Through a process of continuous improvement manage the upkeep of all web content in the member section, ensuring content is accurate, clear, up to date and engaging
Brief internal and external creative teams to develop clear, concise and engaging member communications and marketing collaterals

Previous communications experience of 2 + years (member organisation or corporate experience preferred)
Well-developed oral and written communication skills
Good attention to detail with strong organisational skills
Ability to act on own initiative while ensuring stated deadlines are met
Good team player with ability to work across the organisation and with a wide range of stakeholders
Good understanding of customer relationship management and development
Good understanding of web and online channels
Educated to degree standard or equivalent

The Process

Our Interview Process For This Role Is Simple

First stage interview will take place virtually on MS Teams.
Second stage interview will take place in person at our London Bridge Hub.

We use competency-based questions within our interviews. This allows you to provide examples of situations where you have had to demonstrate the required skills relevant to the role you are applying for. To assist your preparation for interview, research the STAR method to aid bringing your examples to life.

Location

We offer a hybrid working model, allowing employees to work from home up to three days a week.
