Job Title: Contract Structural Design Engineer

Location: Remote!

Contract Duration: 12 months!

Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:

g2 are seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer to support our engineering team on a contract basis. The role involves delivering high-quality structural designs, calculations, and documentation for buildings/infrastructure/industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop structural designs and detailed drawings using one or all of the below: AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, etc.
Perform structural analysis and calculations in compliance with relevant codes and standards
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project teams to resolve technical issues
Prepare design reports and review project documentation

Requirements:

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Chartered status preferred)
Proven experience in structural design in the UK
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
