Full-Stack Developer (Python and Azure) | Bristol | 12 Month Fixed Term Contract | £55,000 p.a

Peaple Talent have partnered with a brilliant client in Bristol who are looking to recruit a Full-Stack Developer for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

Our client is looking a Full-Stack Developer to contribute to the design, upkeep, and enhancement of their in-house AI platform. Built in Python and deployed in Microsoft Azure, the system relies on Azure DevOps pipelines, FunctionApps, and Cosmos DB.

In this position, you’ll collaborate closely with the Product Owner to scope and size features, manage code through Azure DevOps repositories, and maintain thorough release documentation. The role demands a commitment to building a resilient, scalable solution.

Although the current platform does not leverage React for the frontend or FastAPI for the backend, knowledge of those tools and an understanding of user experience principles would be considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Take ownership of building and supporting the company’s internal AI platform, developed in Python, ensuring it aligns with business needs.
Partner with the Product Owner to refine requirements and translate them into actionable development tasks.
Produce, test, and manage code using Azure DevOps repositories, applying best practices in version control.
Engage with stakeholders to gather input and offer informed technical recommendations.
Leverage Azure Function Apps, Service Bus, and Comsos DB to design and extend core application features.
Establish and maintain automated CI/CD workflows in Azure DevOps to streamline releases.

Key Experience Required:

Demonstrated background in full stack development, with advanced proficiency in Python.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, particularly Function Apps and Cosmos DB.
Strong aptitude for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues.
Capable of producing high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code.
