Job Specifications

We have a new requirement for SRE/Devops engineer. Pls note the shift and working details. We need an email confirmation along with every submission that candidate is ok to work on below requirements.

Role : SRE/Devops Engnieer (Toronto, Canada) HYBRID/ Rotational Shift

Location: Toronto office once/twice a week – they need to be in Toronto area and come during normal shifts once a week.

Engineers will be required to work 40 hours in a week including 8-hour shift / day
Engineer will have 5 consecutive workday and 2 consecutive days off in a week
Engineers will have roster in rotating shift, including weekend and evening shift

JD for SRE/Devops:

Required Skills/Experience:

Kubernetes Expertise: Extensive experience with Kubernetes cluster management (EKS preferred), Helm charts, manifests, and container orchestration.
Istio Service Mesh: Proven expertise in implementing and managing Istio within microservices-driven architectures.
AWS Cloud Services: Deep knowledge of key AWS services, with hands-on experience deploying highly available and scalable infrastructure.
API Gateway: Experience in implementing secure and optimized API Gateway solutions for modern applications.
CI/CD Tools: Hands-on experience with ArgoCD, Jenkins, and GitOps practices.
Monitoring: Expertise in Splunk, Wavefront, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stack.
Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application challenges.
Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent IaC technologies.
Cluster Sizing: Knowledgeable in planning and managing resource allocations for Kubernetes cluster sizing and scaling.
Scripting: Strong experience with Python, Java, or Go for automation and operational tooling.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
Availability: Willingness to provide 24/7 on-call support for production environments and handle critical incidents in a timely manner.
