Insight Global is seeking a dynamic Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join one of North America's largest retail and wellness organizations. This individual will be a key member of the Network Engineering Team, taking deep ownership of platform infrastructure and supporting fellow engineers in optimizing performance and reliability. This role is a 6 month contract, with the possibility of extension.

The ideal candidate will be:

- Skilled in the design, analysis, evaluation, configuration, and implementation of network solutions, including route/switch, wireless, network security, and cloud networks.

- Able to instrument logging and monitoring tools to quickly identify problems in routing, equipment failures, and security issues.

- Troubleshoots and resolves problems; contributes to root cause analysis and problem resolution.

- Demonstrates knowledge and expertise in network security protocols.

- Designs network solutions to effectively secure the networks while ensuring resilience and scalability to meet business needs.

- Maintains documentation of network configurations, changes, and performance metrics.

- Dives into platform architecture and leads engineering efforts across systems.

- Collaborates closely with Operations Engineers and System Administrators to ensure seamless infrastructure maintenance and scalability.

- Brings hands-on experience with Cisco and Meraki, particularly in configuration and engineering within medium to large enterprise environments (beyond basic setup tasks like unboxing and unracking).

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering

- Cisco Meraki

- Cisco SD-WAN

- Palo Alto Networks (Prisma Cloud, Firewalls)

- Cloud networking (AWS &/or Azure).

- Aviatrix Cloud Networking Platform
