Role: Test Analysts x2

Project: Cloud data transformation

Location: London (hybrid)

Contract: Initial 6 months

Rate: £600-650/d

X4 Group are partnered with a leading organisation to hire 2x Contract Test Analysts to support a high-priority cloud data transformation and migration programme. The project is focused on moving data into an Azure-based cloud environment and implementing automation testing to ensure data integrity, performance and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities of the Contract Test Analysts (Cloud Data Transformation)

Execute and support data automation testing across cloud-based systems, ensuring migration and transformation processes are accurate and reliable.
Work with Azure services including Databricks, implementing and testing Python notebooks, and building/testing scripts for infrastructure components.
Validate service components within Azure, ensuring all solutions meet functional and performance requirements.
Collaborate with data engineers, developers and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans and scripts.

Requirements for the Contract Test Analysts (Cloud Data Transformation)

Proven testing experience in data transformation and cloud migration projects
Hands-on experience with Azure services, especially Databricks, Python notebooks and cloud infrastructure components.
Strong test automation skills, including scripting and execution of automated tests.
Good understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes and cloud data architecture.
