Senior C# Engineer | Energy Data Platform | £700 Inside IR35 | 6 Months rolling | Hybrid LDN

A Senior C# Engineer is required for an Energy Data company that’s revolutionising the way Energy Trading data is accessible across trading clients. With implementations across some of the market leaders, this company is on a fast trajectory to grow in this ever-busy market.

Our client is a fast-growing disruptor in the Energy Data market, building cutting-edge data systems that enable optimised accessibility of energy trading data, from external market sources and internal trading sources.

£600–700 per day | INside IR35

6-month rolling contract

Hybrid – 1-2 days per week London

Senior C# Engineer - Energy Trading Data experience preferable

As a Senior C# Engineer, you’ll be working on the design and build of real-time data and analytics platforms, leveraging microservices architecture and Azure cloud technologies to deliver highly scalable, performant, and resilient systems.

You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders, data engineers, and DevOps specialists to deliver event-driven solutions that power trading decisions and optimise market operations.

Experience required:

Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET Core
Proven experience building microservices-based architectures
Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud Services (Functions, Service Bus, Event Hub, Kubernetes, etc.)
Experience with event-driven / message-based systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Service Bus)
Energy or Commodity Trading domain experience (preferable)
Exposure to low-latency systems or real-time data processing is highly desirable
