We’re seeking a PCB Quality Engineer to join a leading North West manufacturer. You’ll ensure all printed circuit boards and assemblies meet internal and customer quality standards, driving continuous improvement across processes and products.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect and audit PCBs (bare and assembled) to IPC standards (IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610).
Monitor quality metrics, yields, and defect trends; lead improvement initiatives.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement CAPA actions.
Develop and maintain quality procedures for PCB fabrication and assembly.
Collaborate with engineering and design teams to resolve quality issues.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and related standards.

Skills & Experience

5+ years in PCB manufacturing, assembly, or electronics quality.
Strong knowledge of IPC standards and quality systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100).
Skilled in inspection, RCA, and statistical quality tools.
Experience with PCB design software (e.g., Altium) and reliability testing.
Excellent attention to detail, communication, and teamwork.
