Business Analyst – Oil Trading

Contract Outside IR35

3 days a week on site in Central London

One of our commodity trading clients is running a major transformation programme and needs an experienced Business Analyst with a solid track record in physical oil trading. This is not a role for someone who has only seen financial derivatives. They want someone who understands how barrels move, how operations actually work, and how front to back processes tie together in a real trading environment.

You will be working closely with trading, operations, risk and IT teams to shape requirements, map processes, and drive delivery across an upcoming initiative. Experience working directly with Amphora Symphony is essential.

What they need from you:

Proven background as a BA in physical oil or wider physical commodities.
Strong understanding of trade lifecycle, logistics, scheduling, operations and risk.
Direct experience on Amphora Symphony.
Ability to cut through noise, get clarity, and work with senior stakeholders.
Comfortable working 3 days a week on site in Central London.

Details:

Contract outside IR35.
Initial programme engagement with strong likelihood of extension.
Start ASAP.
