JOB DESCRIPTION:

"Candidate should have more than 6 years of experience in AbiInitio, Snowflake and Control-M skillsets.

Ab Initio Developer skills include technical expertise in the Ab Initio ETL toolset, SQL, and Unix/Linux Data Ingestion: Strong knowledge of data ingestion processes for onboarding new datasets.

Database Expertise:

Proficient in SQL.

Expert in DB Load/Unload utilities.

Hands-on experience with Oracle, DB2, and Teradata.

UNIX Skills: Familiarity with Unix utilities such as more, sed, awk, etc…

Data Warehousing: Solid understanding of Data Warehouse concepts with strong analytical skills.

Scheduling Tools: Experience with scheduling tools like Control-M, Maestro, Autosys etc...

Ticketing Tools: Working knowledge of Jira and ServiceNow.

Project Exposure:

Experience with at least 2–3 source systems and multiple target systems.

Daily simple data ingestion processes.

Domain Knowledge: Background in finance, ideally with exposure to capital markets products.

Framework Development: Experience in developing and supporting complex frameworks for multiple data ingestion patterns.

ETL Tools: Proficiency in ETL tools such as Ab Initio, Spark/Python.

Agile Methodology: Experience working in an Agile project development lifecycle.

Database Concepts: Strong understanding of databases and related concepts; Snowflake knowledge is a plus.

Familiarity with Jenkins.

Team Management: Ability to manage teams, assign tasks, build teamwork, and ensure effective communication with clients.

Support Experience: Prior experience in production support and issue resolution is an added advantage."
