Minimum Qualifications:
Embedded System & real time driver development
Debugging real time systems
Linux and QNX operating systems
Scripting languages
Basic understanding of electronics, comfortable reading schematics and working with HW debug tools
The candidate should be detail-oriented and have strong analytic and problem-solving skills, highly organized
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in Linux and Android, QNX, Green Hills
Knowledge of ML frameworks (TF, Python, ONNX)
Knowledge of color spaces, image formats (RGB, YUV, JPEG)
Knowledge of camera sensors and ISP
Experience with GPU optimization, advanced rendering, and latency optimizations and ability to identify and isolate performance issues in graphics applications.
Experience with Graphics API’s: openCL. openGLES, Vulkan
Experience with Computer vision, openCV
Understanding of audio frameworks (QNX MMF/io-audio/Dev-A, OpenMAX, Android Multimedia Framework, Android Player, Android Audio System (AudioFlinger, Audio Policy manager, Audio HAL), Linux ALSA Architecture, GStreamer, etc)
Experienced with implementing and working with audio processing pipeline for media applications (playback, capture, transcoding, streaming, voice call, analog audio codecs, software defined radio, etc)
Understanding of common interfaces: I2C, I2S, CSI, DSI, DisplayPort, HDMI
Knowledge of ASPICE, ASIL, ISO26262

Educational Requirements
In study towards a bachelor’s degree in one of the following: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering Science, Computer Science, or related field
Eligible candidates must have a graduation date in December 2027 or later, including May or June 2028.
For 16-month internships: must be available May/June 2026 - August/September 2027
For 12-month internships: must be available May/June 2026 - May/June 2027
Work Location: This is a full-time, onsite position based in Markham. The role requires working from our office five days a week. Hybrid or remote work arrangements are not available.
